From SEO to GEO: How AI is Reshaping
E-Commerce Discovery

As part of a Digital Marketing Analytics course I completed during Spring 2026, I analyzed the rapid rise of AI-driven traffic in e-commerce and its implications for digital marketing strategy. Using industry data from sources like Adobe, I identified that AI-referred users demonstrate significantly higher engagement and conversion rates compared to traditional traffic sources.

I translated these insights into strategic recommendations, introducing the concept of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) as the next evolution of search strategy. I outlined how brands should adapt content, structure, and technical performance to remain visible in AI-driven discovery environments.

This project demonstrates my ability to synthesize emerging trends, interpret data, and turn insights into actionable marketing strategy.
